Heritage Fashion is 5 years in 2024. It was birthed during Covid by Phumzile Sokhulu & Renaldo Cortez Rip Gates. It was inspired by my late sister Sbongile Sokhulu who was a TV personality, Actress on Shaka Zulu & Beauty Queen.
Having been the 1st Black to enter Miss South Africa. She was a teacher that taught Ubuntu & Purity & pride in Zulu heritage. Which made sense when the SABC incorporated African languages, they recruited her as the 1st IsiZulu News Reader.
Heritage Fashion Show showcase diversity on indigenous cultures that are slowly becoming extinct and bridging the gap for new generation their heritage.
